Gallery CircularPSP #5 working group meeting

CPSP Sandyford Business District (SBD) was delighted to welcome the CircularPSP consortium to Dublin for the first time for a two-day meeting hosted at the Clayton Hotel Leopardstown. The event brought together procurers and partners from across Europe, including representatives from Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (TR), Municipality of Guimarães (PT), the Association of Municipalities and Towns of Slovenia (SI), and the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SE). The meeting opened with a hybrid session connecting colleagues remotely from Helsinki and Berlin. Supported by partners including empirica GmbH (DE), RISE Research Institutes of Sweden (SE), ReLondon (UK), EEIP – European Institute for Innovation Policy (BE), and TAGES (TR), the gathering marked the consortium’s fifth onsite meeting. Alongside consortium discussions, partners advanced Phase 3 and welcomed suppliers CircularAI and circOS VCG.AI to discuss their commercialisation plans and share initial impact evaluation outputs.

On the second and final day, the consortium reflected on insights from the previous sessions and focused on next steps, impact evaluation and planning for long-term change. SBD also welcomed Patrick O’Donnell from Irish Manufacturing Research, who presented the European project CircularShift. Discussions highlighted the value of international collaboration and traceability, with partners exploring ways to better align efforts in Ireland so that initiatives like CircularShift complement CircularPSP and help accelerate the circular transition across Europe. SBD extends its thanks to all partners, procurers and suppliers who joined us in the district for two productive days of collaboration and progress on circular innovation.
