Sandyford Business District Wellness Week 24 - Sandyford 5k
Over 600 participants had the pleasure of taking part in the annual Sandyford 5km in the District on Thursday May 9th at 7.30pm
With clear skies and a perfect 17°C, we couldn’t have asked for better weather.
This year, saw the introduction of a brand-new addition to the race – the 600m Children’s Race with over 150 children taking part.
Here are some highlights from the event:
600 Enthusiastic Participants: From competitive runners to families, friends and colleagues, young and not so young - the diverse turnout made the evening truly special.
Post-Run Celebration: Held in Race HQ - Dynamic Space, 60 Holly Avenue, the awards ceremony, healthy refreshments, and ice creams capped off a perfect event. All participants received medals for completing the run.
Most importantly, this event wasn’t just about running; it was about coming together as a community to promote health and wellness during Sandyford Business District’s Wellness Week ‘24. The sense of camaraderie and collective spirit was truly inspiring.
