Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome His Excellency Mr Miyagawa Manabu, Ambassador of Japan to Ireland to Day 2 of the Sandyford Business District International Innovation Summit, delivered in partnership with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.

The Ambassador joined one of the summit’s key workshops, Influencing Competitiveness via National Innovation Blueprints, which brought together Irish, Moroccan and EU stakeholders to explore the innovation gaps highlighted in the Draghi and Letta reports.

Discussions focused on shaping actionable recommendations to strengthen innovation and economic growth across Europe, while exploring the vital role business districts can play in bringing together business, government, academia, society and private investment.

We look forward to meeting with His Excellency again very soon to continue the conversation and explore opportunities to strengthen links between Japan and Sandyford Business District, fostering collaboration, innovation and investment
