Back Your BID - Reminder to return your ballot paper before June 18th
Ballot papers were issued last week to all eligible businesses in the district by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. These must be completed and returned in the freepost envelope by June 18th.
The ballot paper is addressed to the business rather than an individual, so please ensure colleagues are aware of its importance and keep an eye out for it. An example of the ballot paper and envelope is included below for reference.
Why vote YES to renew Sandyford Business District for a third term?
A YES vote will allow Sandyford Business District to continue delivering strong representation, investment and support for businesses across the district, including:
• A unified voice with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and Government stakeholders
• Investment in infrastructure, transport, sustainability and placemaking
• Area maintenance, landscaping, litter management and Christmas lighting
• Business networking, engagement and promotional campaigns such as Spend in Sandyford
• Free promotion through the SBD website, digital newsletter and digital signage
• Securing EU and Government funding opportunities
• Supporting the proposed Innovation Campus and Sandyford Digital Twin initiative
• Strengthening Sandyford’s position as a leading international business and innovation district
Without renewal, this dedicated level of support, investment and advocacy would not continue.
