New Mural Brought to Life on Burton Hall Road

Sandyford Business District, in partnership with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, has brought to life a new mural in The District on Burton Hall Road.

This vibrant, contemporary artwork captures the area’s unique spirit, blending colour, geometry, and local imagery to celebrate the connections between business, innovation, community, and the urban environment.

Design elements such as the Luas tram, modern buildings, cranes, and green spaces highlight The District’s accessibility, ongoing development, and commitment to sustainability. Abstract patterns and bold typography evoke themes of connectivity, diversity, and progress — reflecting the dynamic energy that defines The District.

This striking new mural, part of our ongoing placemaking programme for The District, not only enhances the local streetscape but also stands as a testament to the creative vision achieved through the collaboration between SBD and DLR — a shared expression of a vibrant, sustainable, and forward-thinking district.

Huge thanks to John Brady for creating such a stunning mural — it perfectly captures the spirit of The District!
