Notice of Temporary Road Closure – Burton Hall Road (SLIP ROAD ONLY!)
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has approved an application from GMC Utilities on behalf of Uisce Éireann to temporarily close Burton Hall (SLIP ROAD ONLY) from its junction with the northbound lane of the N31 to its junction with Blackthorn Avenue.
Closure Details:
• Location: Burton Hall (SLIP ROAD), Sandyford Business Park
• Dates: Monday, 6th April 2026 to Friday, 8th May 2026
• Purpose: Installation of a new watermain
Traffic Arrangements:
• The left lane on Burton Hall (SLIP Road) be closed to traffic coming from the N31 by the Clayton Hotel
• The right lane on the SLIP ROAD will remain open for traffic travelling towards the N31 (towards the Clayton Hotel)
• Traffic wishing to turn left onto Burton Hall Road from the N31 must continue to the next junction approx. 200m at the LUAS bridge and turn left there.
Local access to businesses will be maintained at all times.
A Traffic Management Plan will be in place, with pedestrian access maintained and diversion routes clearly signposted.
