Parks, Playground and Plazas in The District

Make the most of the sunny weather in The District!

With a number of public parks, plazas, and a playground right here in The District, there’s no better time to get outside—whether you’re keeping the kids active or enjoying a well-deserved lunch break away from your desk.

Blackthorn Park – located across from the Beacon Hospital on the corner of Drummartin Link Road, right beside Naomh Ólaf GAA Club – features a walking/running path around its perimeter and a children’s playground.

Check out one of the pocket parks and plazas with canopies, picnic tables, and benches—perfect for relaxing, enjoying a coffee, playing chess or table tennis or soaking up the sunshine at lunchtime.

You’ll find them in Bracken Road Pocket Park (D18C7Y8), Overend Pocket Park (beside Mastercard) and our plazas on Ballymoss and Arkle Road
