SBD Advances Strategic Growth Agenda in Meeting with Minister Neale Richmond TD

On 27th March, we met with Neale Richmond TD, Minister of State for International Development and Diaspora. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss a range of key topics, including the recent trade mission to New York City as part of a commercial delegation from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, as well as the launch in Brussels of EABID – the European Association of Business Innovation Districts, where Sandyford Business District is one of the co-founders.

We also outlined several ongoing and future initiatives within Sandyford Business District, including:

  • The Junction 14 link road

  • The proposed Civic Park on Corrig Road

  • A potential community facility within the vacant Imaginosity building

  • The development of an Innovation Campus

  • The critical infrastructure and amenities required to support the district’s long-term growth and sustainability

The discussion reinforced the importance of continued collaboration between government, local authorities and industry stakeholders to ensure Sandyford Business District continues to thrive as a leading hub for innovation, investment, and sustainable development.

Looking ahead, we remain committed to working closely with our partners to deliver on these shared ambitions and to strengthen SBD’s role as a key driver of economic growth and opportunity.
