SBD Showcases ReCUP Journey at Final International Conference
Sandyford Business District joined partners in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, for the final URBACT ReCUP Conference, celebrating the project’s achievements and exploring how its impact can continue into the future.
During the conference, we shared how ReCUP has helped establish a resident-led community voice in the district, supporting plans for the proposed Civic Park, a future community hub and the development of a Community CLG to help shape the district’s future.
Delegates also visited inspiring community and cultural projects across Amersfoort, reinforcing the important role that community participation, arts and culture play in creating more connected and inclusive places.
As the ReCUP project concludes, we look forward to building on the partnerships, knowledge and momentum created through the programme to help make the district a place where people not only work and live, but also feel they belong.
