Attracting & Promoting

Sandyford Business District promotes investment in the district, both FDI and indigenous to attract international and national businesses. With over 46,451 sq.m. (500,000 sq.ft.) of office space currently under construction and major projects in planning/development, the district is ideally placed to accommodate companies of all sizes. The Business Attraction Task Force engages regularly with IDA and Enterprise Ireland and meets regularly with property agents to showcase and promote the district.

  • Mastercard opening its new Technology Hub for Europe in One and Two South County employing over 1,500 people in 22,525 sq.m. (242,460 sq.ft.) of office space
  • Facebook moved into 15,939 sq.m. (172,121 sq.ft.) of offices in The Atrium, Sandyford Business Park
  • AIB moved into the eight-storey Block H in Central Park with 14,083 sq.m. (151,586 sq.ft.) office space

A key role of Sandyford Business District is to promote all businesses in the four business parks. Since the company was formed in January 2017 over 100 events have been held and numerous initiatives to support business have been introduced.

Business Supports include:

  • Business Directory: this directory is exclusive to businesses in the four business parks and the District’s website (www.sandyford.ie) lists all companies with their contact information/logo/Eircode/business profile, google map ‘pinning’, links to website and social media
  • Breakfast Networking Meetings: held regularly on key topics including the Metaverse, Future workplace, Women in leadership, business networking, property, leadership and financial literacy
  • LIFT Ireland: Sandyford Business District is the first business district to be appointed an official Partner and is rolling out the programme to companies in the four business parks
  • LEAN Ireland: Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council launched this programme in the District
  • Webinar Series: regular interviews with professional advisers on selected themes which are posted on website
  • Social Events / Team Bonding: Wellness Week, Competitions, 5-a side tournaments
