Sustainable Business Award 2019

Closing date for entries: Friday 13th September 2019.
The Sustainable Business Award will recognise applications demonstrating that good environmental practice is both a key business strategy and is part of the everyday operations of the business. The entry should include evidence that an environmental policy was designed and implemented to reduce the environmental impact e.g. targets and measurable achievements in waste prevention, energy and water conservation, biodiversity, sustainable transport and green procurement.

| Resource Efficiency - How you conserve water, use energy efficiently and recycle/prevent waste. | 35 Points |
| Staff and Community Engagement - Evidence of how you support staff and community led environmental projects. | 25 Points |
| Sustainability Leadership - Targets set and achievements in sustainable transport / greening supply chains. | 25 Points |
| Future Commitments - Plans to further reduce the carbon footprint of the business to 2020. | 15 Points |

Please complete each of the four sections, writing no more than 1000 words in each.
Please feel free to attach additional supplementary evidence to your submission when emailing.
Please return the completed entry form by email to awards@sandyford.ie.
Deadline for receiving completed entries is close of business on Friday 13th September 2019.
Rules of Entry:
Nominated companies or individuals must be based in the Sandyford Business District.
Each entry must be submitted on a fully completed application form and emailed to awards@sandyford.ie. Please note that additional pages and supporting documents may also be attached.Nominations may be added to additional categories at the judges’ discretion.
Judges may revert for additional information.
The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into before or after judging.
