And that’s a wrap…Wellness Week 26 Recap
All last week Sandyford Business District came alive with the return of SBD Wellness Week 2026, bringing together businesses and employees for four days of fitness, wellbeing and community spirit.
This year’s programme featured a packed schedule of activities, competitions and wellness events designed to encourage people to get active and connect with colleagues across the district.
Highlights included the hugely popular Sandyford’s Fittest Company Competition, where Echelon Data Centres successfully defended their title for a second consecutive year. Thanks to Chris Kenefick of Revelate Fitness and Chris Moore of Raw Gyms for partnering with us on this event.
New for 2026 was Sandyford’s Sharpest Company in the Arena in Super Social, won by TLI Group after an impressive debut performance. Thanks to Paul Quinn and Daniel Begley of Super Social
The 6-a-Side Soccer Tournament also returned with 15 companies competing throughout the week. Mastercard claimed the 2026 title after defeating last year’s champions RBK Chartered Accountants in an exciting final. Thanks to Terence O’Halloran and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council for support with the organisation.
The Drivalia Sandyford 5K once again attracted strong participation, with families, friends and colleagues running, jogging and walking together in a fantastic show of community spirit. Congratulations to David O’Leary and the team at DSD Events and thanks to Gerry Walsh for the use of Dynamic Space for the awards ceremony.
Employees also enjoyed free fitness sessions and exclusive lifestyle, health and beauty offers throughout the week.
SBD Wellness Week 2026 once again highlighted the importance of workplace wellbeing in building stronger connections, boosting morale and supporting a healthier business community - while also providing a valuable platform for organisations in the health and fitness sector to showcase their services.
