Kieran McCorry is the National Technology Officer for Microsoft in Ireland and has worked in the technology industry for over 30 years. He is responsible for representing Microsoft to broad audiences for technology leadership, engendering trust, technology vision, strategic alignment, and national policy.

He works across many sectors of the technology landscape including those of collaboration, social media, analytics, mobility, privacy, the Internet of Things, innovation, digital transformation, intellectual property, AI, cyber security, and quantum computing. He is a frequent speaker at worldwide conferences and has been a regular contributor to various industry publications.

He is the author of four books on messaging technology and holds several patents. He has a variety of degrees and post-graduate qualifications in computer science, law, corporate governance, digital policy, innovation and enterprise development, and data protection law.

He is an alumnus of Queen’s University Belfast, University College Dublin, Trinity College Dublin, and the Honourable Society of King’s Inns. He sits on several industry boards and Government forums focused on technology skills development and strategic planning. Kieran is also a Fellow of the Irish Computer Society.
