Why Vote YES to Renew Sandyford Business District for a Third Term?

• Continue the progress, investment and strong representation that has helped transform Sandyford Business District over the past decade.

• Maintain a dedicated SBD team of 7 professionals and a board of 12 business leaders focused on supporting the district.

• Ensure businesses continue to have a strong, unified voice with Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council and Government stakeholders.

• Support continued investment in infrastructure, transport, sustainability and placemaking initiatives.

• Maintain essential services including area maintenance, landscaping, litter management and Christmas lighting.

• Continue valuable networking events, business engagement initiatives and promotional campaigns such as Spend in Sandyford.

• Support local businesses through the SBD website, business directory and Spotlight on Sandyford business series.

• Enable SBD to continue securing EU and Government funding opportunities for the district.

• Support the development of the proposed Innovation Campus for start-ups and scale-ups.

• Continue advancing the Sandyford Digital Twin to support smarter planning, sustainability and investment decisions.

• Strengthen Sandyford’s position as one of Ireland’s leading international business and innovation districts.

Without the renewal of SBD, the work outlined above would not continue, as the Council would not be in a position to provide the same level of dedicated focus, targeted investment or strategic support currently being delivered across the district by SBD.

A YES vote means continued collaboration, stronger advocacy, enhanced services and a shared vision for the future of Sandyford.
